A fine trip from Buckinghamshire saw us at DTCI 20 mins early but we were welcomed by the Agents and Purple Parking Captain. Check in was smooth but not as friendly and warm as the last time. Private security a little busy but still much better than the normal queue. Now in the Clubhouse champagne in hand, CH breakfast consumed and haircut taken care of by the fabulous hairdressers. This really is a wonderful place to spend a few hours
Managed to secure some upgrades at the CH desk for 2 of our party that were in PE. The person at the desk was brilliant in contacting all departments, selecting seats and ensuring all went smoothly.

Anyway, more food is calling - TTFN :-D

Thanks Blacky. Flight was very empty with only 136 PAX, so service was decent. Now enjoying the sunshine before disappearing for dinner and cocktails. Full TR to come soon

I know it's not good for the airlines but one day I'd like to be on a flight with such a light load. Come to think of it I have. Heathrow to Newcastle back in 97 or 98. My colleague and Inwere summonsed over the PA and then made to sit at opposite ends of the aeroplane to 'balance the load'. In my memory there were maybe 3 or 4 of us on the flight. But it was some time ago...

That must've been great, Blacky. A couple of years ago we were on a LGW-MCO with, I think, 115 Pax. The 6 of us were in Y and had a whole cabin to ourselves, we partied and the Crew joined us
