Does anyone know why these were cancelled today? I've seen that there's been a lot of charter flights lately, including to DTW, could this be why?

On a loosely related question, has there been much indication as to the success of the new(ish) route? It often seems to come up a lot pricier than other routes to a similar area (see the current UC sale, DTW being the most expensive destination) with only the more expensive buckets being sold. Perhaps down to the DL/VS dominance of the route?

Been fully loaded in UC and PE the times I've been on the route.

In the back - less so, I think it was about a 80% load based on max-seats versus actual seats. I've flown on both DL metal and VS.

It's a great airport to connect via, with quite short immigration queues.

Possibly to allow recovery from the LHR fog delays / cancellations?

The charter flights are related to the NFL games in London. From the VS Source those 2 flights took of on Sunday Night after the game.

Yes where a single airline is dominant on a route then prices are higher due to lack of competition.
