Quick question,
My parents have just returned from MCO and have stated that the seats they had felt different.
They flew out on 'Jersey Girl' in Row 24 A, C (PE in the Bubble) and returned on Hot Lips, in Row 24 A, C (PE in the Bubble).

Now to my understanding that the LGW 747 are the same configurations since the refits.

They state that the seats felt different on the return journey on Hot lips.

- Seats didn't feel as wide
- The space between their seats and the row in front (legroom) I personally think that as this is the row before the exit row that it would be standard.
- The overhead lockers were different, only half a locker on Hot Lips.
They noticed that the majority of passengers in PE had to pass these onto crew to store in the galley, where as on the outbound there was plenty of space.

Anyone have any ideas?

No, they will have been the same seats, with same layout and the same overhead lockers. All of the upper deck lockers are smaller and they are unable to fit the small suitcase type hand luggage in them.

Maybe they ate too much on holiday resulting in the less spacious seat, as not sure there is any other sensible reason

Agree on LGW being same.

However, definitely had a faulty seat on a PE 340-600 a month ago, for which I complained and had a satisfactory response. Seat padding on the 340-600 and lumbar support was not really helping.

The LGW 747 upper deck PE was FAR FAR FAR more comfortable in comparison. As the flight was 2 week after first had a clear comparison to compare.

It may be worth reporting the seat number on the 747 to get the seat checked to cs...
