Help please: Baggage (PE with an internal leg)

Flying soon LGW - LAS
I booked PE via Expedia and Delta (code share to VS flights)
The flights I'm doing are
LGW - LAS Direct on VS43
But returning
LAS - LAX Delta (internal)
LAX - LHR VS8

Question is, will I still be able to check two bags at LAS even though the leg to LAX is Delta Economy. Seeing as the main legs are PE with Virgin and I'd be allowed 2 bags.

If this is all on the same ticket then you'll get the PE allowance as VS is the most significant carrier as its flying you the most miles

As it should be, yet VS don't offer the higher allowance on mixed class return tickets, strange!
