Hi

Does anyone know what will be on the menu on vs045 - 20th Dec-Sunday? Flying UC.
Also, do they sell mini bottles of Moët or something similar on board, would like to purchase a bottle for my bday which is 3 days later or shall I just purchase in duty free or even in NYC.

Thanks
Kelly

re the bubbly...

if it's to have in NYC, i'd buy at duty free before departure

by the book, once onboard you are only allowed to drink alcohol served/supplied by VS for in-flight enjoyment

if you're in UC, there will be bubbly, though it can run out

the retail therapy page http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/gb/en/th ... erapy.html gives a number to call about arranging in-flight surprises, it's under a picture of bubbly bottles, i'd try that if you want certainly of supply

there are mini-bottles sold in EC/PE, but if you're not after a full bottle i'd go with the standard UC offer

Oh my god, nooooooo. What a terrible thing to say, it's Christmas, you shouldn't be putting things like that in peoples minds. I have a seat booked for Boxing Day and plan on making the most of it :-D

LOL@AlphaEcho
Thanks for the link, I may just call the number and surprise myself, they also have 3 mini Moet on there to buy. I was not planning on drinking it on the plane.

Anybody know what is on the menu?

only happened once for me, a few weeks ago on the return from DXB (i'm recovering from the shock, slowly)

CC said the outbound pax had guzzled it all as the previous CC hadn't reserved enough for the return leg, but i suspect it's down to VS penny pinching, the bar stock seems much sparser than a few years ago
