All,
I'm travelling at the end of the month to Denver on a VS booking, flying Delta and connecting at MSP.
I understand that the international part includes 1 free piece of luggage but I can't find any information on the MSP-DEN sector. Both sectors are on the same booking.
For the return, I will fly to ATL first on Delta again (on Economy Comfort if it changes anything) and then onto the VS104 back to LHR.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

As SlimpyJones says,

If your flight is operated by one of our partner airlines and your flight number starts “VS”, then the Virgin Atlantic baggage allowance will apply.

If your journey involves travelling in different cabins, such as travelling out in Economy and returning in Premium Economy, you will be entitled to the applicable baggage allowance for each part of your journey.

Thanks very much for your help ! Much appreciated.
Another quick question, I've noticed that I'm booked in N fare bucket ... I assume that it won't get me any miles or tier points on the Delta sectors but would love to confirm.
Many thanks !

Yep it should get the Economy & <3000 miles TPs, which is one per sector. As for miles, I'm not sure of the exact amount as it seems that N fares aren't listed on this page. I certainly hope that it does as I've got N fares booked to DEN later this year as well. It'd be at least 50% of the base miles, plus any extra for Au/Ag status. Would be grateful if you could confirm once your miles/TPs have posted!

Looking at the info on V-Flyer, I could find the below, which is quite encouraging but I doubt that I will get 2 TPs per sector on all Delta-operated sectors, even if I'm booked on VS flight numbers. If that's really the case, that will just renew my Ag status so by all means, bring it on !!!

•The second lowest level of fare class for Economy, very restricted in regards to changes, and changes will attract a fee. Non-refundable and Advance Purchase is required.
•Flying Club Miles and Tier Points will be earned. 50% of mileage flown earn for all passengers (100% for Flying Club Silver and 150% for flying Club Gold members) and 2TP's per sector.
•This fare is one of the classes that are used for Economy Flying Club Miles Plus Money (MPM) fares. There will need to be availability in this or one of the other MPM fare classes for you to be able to take advantage of MPM. MPM fares do not earn Flying Club miles or Tier points even though it is booked in this fare code.
•This fare class is also utilised on the Delhi route for redemption of Select voucher, if there is no availability in N and a customer wishes to use a Select voucher - Virgin will manually check through the sold allocation of N Class to see how many are Select voucher redemption's, as they are allowed to oversell this class to take them up to a maximum of 4 Select voucher redemption's. Some Virgin Holiday flights now book into this class, in particular the MegaDeals.
•This fare class is also commonly used by agents that specialise in Student Fares as it is the lowest and special rates sometimes apply for student travellers
•You cannot use Flying Club Miles to upgrade this fare to a Premium Economy or Upper Class Reward fare

The Delta fare classes do not line up against the VS fare classes in that way - an 'N' on Delta is not the same as an 'N' on Virgin :)

Regardless of which fare code you are booked in to on your Delta connection, if you are in Economy you will get 1 TP for a journey of under 3,000 miles (you'll get 2 TP for >3,000 miles).
