I booked our return flights to Atlanta today departing Sept 25th. I have selected our seats on the on the my booking page the seat map shows a A340-600 as the equipment however when checking the V-flyer seat ratings it shows the aircraft as an A330-300 100% of the time so I am a little confused. Doe anyone have a possible reason for this and is it likely the 340 will change to a 330 at some point.
Thanks

ATL is performing very well so VS must feel they need more capacity on the route.

There have been some changes since then, our VS104 in May was originally an A346 but has now changed to a A330.

They are changing aircraft around all the time so best to keep an eye on this every so often via "My Bookings". If they change aircraft they may or may not change seat numbers allocated.

One of our April flights to MIA has changed to a Dreamliner from something else and so has to swap our K row seats to A row seats, which offer more privacy.
