Iain

Thanks for the link - it's VS201 that's been diverted (no hijack - I'll edit the thread title appropriately). How strange that the flight gets all the way from HKG to the UK and suddenly there's a bomb warning? [?]

Hope all turns out good.

Cheers

An hour STN - LHR, wow.

When I flew that route on a VS 747 it only took about 15 minutes!

Any word on which aircraft it was ?
Also, it wasn't exactly full - is this the norm for this route. I thought HK was a popular trip.

It is heading towards the low season at this time of year therefore passengers level are slightly down. I also heard from HKG that BA and CX are doing a buy one ticket get one free offer so I guess that will hit the load factor too. My parents are flying over on BA next month on that deal... [V]

Happy Flying :)

Apparently it was a hoax.
Police though have arrested a foul-mouthed Irishman and a grinning Greek.
