Hi
I'm after a little bit of advice/help.
I was due to be on a delta flight booked with a VS codeshare Friday evening from IAD to JFK and then onto MAN. However, due to storms around JFK a good number of flights were cancelled - both my internal and transatlantic flights on delta were cancelled with no possibility of getting back to MAN on a delta operated flight on Friday. Instead they routed me on Lufthansa IAD-MUC-MAN.
I'm not a member of LH FF so those points are of little use to me. I was wondering whether I would have any success claiming the original routing credit for virgin flying club which I would have gained on the delta operated flights? - I'm towards the end of my rolling membership year and this flight would have renewed gold.
Anyone had any success in a similar situation in the past?
Thanks in advance!
