Greetings from the Pier HKG

Flew out on a good vs206 Tuesday night but couldn't find a decent price return for this weekend so I'll use the return later in the year and decided to use all my BA miles on a Cathay 1st class.
I would of been happy with premium but first was all I could find at late notice(such a shame)
Typically plenty of premium popped up yesterday.
Started off in the wing which did have me wondering what's the fuss? Since moved onto the pier 1st class lounge and it really is pretty good.
I love the clubhouse but this is pretty amazing, I guess it's what you expect for 1st class.
I will try and do my first trip report, I keep promising that.

I will be ine whatever lounge my ba gold card gets me into, around christmas eve. I think I concluded the pier to be the best one. There's decent cabanas in the first class bit of the wing, I heard, much nicer than BA's. Might try both. Might go into Hong Kong, got 5 hours spare...
