A heads up - and a new problem perhaps. (Is it?)

Never known this before, but it now seems that upgrades with miles and full reward seats may show on website and NOT be available to FC staff. I was looking at two tickets: an S to G upgrade; and a simple G purchase.

Phoned FC - nothing in either group available to them. But I could book the full G on the website.

If you want a full G - not so much bother, but if you want to upgrade a ticket, can't do that on the website.

Booking the full G on the web - the FC rep asked me to stay on the phone while I did it on line, so that she could see it was possible! She was very helpful, and rueful.
