Please can someone help. I have been trying over many weeks to get Virgin FC to issue me the Tier points I am entitled too. I booked the flight before the 1st September before Delta changed their Tiers from 75 to 20. I flew on the 25/12/17 LHR-MIA on VS then MIA-MCO on Delta, booked with Virgin with different flight numbers.
I emailed but didn’t get anything back and have phoned FC gold and been told by 3 different advisors that they will get back to me but as yet nothing!
Has anyone been successful in getting this sorted, if so how? I would appreciate help on this matter. I have flights in March which were booked before the deadline & I can see me having the same problem >-(

Sometimes it can be a bit of a process.

I was told to email [email protected] - which I did (and chased with a few phone calls which was pointless), and the manual adjustments appeared on my account within a couple of weeks.

Stick with it... it is annoying, but Airline systems are so clunky, this kind of thing is sometimes necessary for us to endure.

Good luck.

I had a similar fight for TP's in the switchover from the old FC system to the new, it took me 4 phone calls and three different answers and having to use screen shots of Oli Byers posts on here to prove what I was saying!!

Thank you. It is wrong that we need to keep chasing for things that we have booked expecting them to honour!

It's not wrong at all to chase the miles or TP's you have been promised, but it shouldn't be required in the first place!! It's bizarre the way Flying Club operate sometimes.

With my most recent flights, I sent off my Retail Therapy pre-order miles and they where credited within about 48 hours, yet last year when I did the same I had to chase them almost on a weekly basis for about 3 months.

(it's still ludicrous that the Retail Therapy pre-order earn miles system still isn't automated; but anyway....)

About to start having to chase Virgin Holidays bookings miles as well now as it's now almost been 30 days since my booking and nothing has appeared so far.

I’m still waiting for miles from Tristar bookings on 9th December and 2nd January and an Alamo booking starting in 10th December. I’ve chased up both VS FC and the specific supplier up still no miles have shown up.

It’s not the number miles per se as it’s really not very many but it is very definitely the principle of getting what was part of the contract.
