Best lounge at Gatwick North

Off next week and currently booked PE so no Clubhouse.
I have put a bid in for Upper but will only get notified two days before if it was successful.
So if I am still in PE, which I fully expect to be, which is the best lounge to book?

For me, the Club Rooms section of the Nunber 1 lounge offers the best pay per entry lounge at Gatwick!

Good food, drink and service!

Last time we flew PE we chanced the Virgin Lounge - we paid £45 each on the door. Priority Pass lounge was full and wouldnt let us in!

We use the No1 lounge at LGW North and it is perfectly OK. Haven't tried the Clubrooms but I think it offers one step up in terms of service.

I have just had a quick look at Clubrooms.
It does look better, but at the price it's almost worth trying to pay at Virgin Clubhouse.
As we have a one o'clock flight I'm not too bothered about alcohol and will probably stick with No1 lounge.
Unless of course I have managed to win my bid on the UC upgrade.
I should hear today.

I have a priority pass so only costs me £20 and that guarantees access and I can easily drink £20 in champers

My bid was unsuccessful so we are in PE
I didn't expect there to be any seats in a 14 seat cabin anyway.
I have just booked No1 Lounge through Holiday Extras for 10% discount.
We will just have to make do with Prosecco. No hardship it's what we drink most weekends.
Bollinger at the hotel tomorrow night though.

I am looking at the failed upgrade as £1200 saved as apparently I bid £600 each. Minus £57 for the No1 lounge I now have (1200-57 )x 1.37 or $1,566 to spend on meals out.

Champagne served and table service, and they will make their version of a Virgin Redhead for you

just tried no1 using our Barclays account and it was like a bomb site in there, the food was also tasteless, uninspiring and totally unappetising.
