Virgin Money 1 year savings account for airmiles

Just received an email from Virgin Money offering a new 1 year savings account giving 1400 airmiles per £1000 invested, quite a nice earner for those with some money to save and want airmiles rather than interest.

Definitely a ‘different’ idea (to me anyway) - but a feels like a long time to wait for the miles....

please don't chose financial products just because you might get some miles in the future.

That applies to credit cards, ISA, insurance or general savings.
