New look at G-VEVE on the 28th

She certainly seems on track for a late December/ early January delivery.

This new blog about The Booth reveals that G-VEVE will arrive in December 2021, G-VLIB in April 2022 and the final 3 by June 2023 which is quite some time away.

I can see them taking the option aircraft up as well.

They'll take options if the price is right, and demand is there. However with 339s on the way and plenty of 787s sitting available right now second hand, my guess is VS needs to focus on filling the aircraft they have first.

Could some of them be reconfigured?

Fuselage section of MSN 547 which will soon be G-VELJ

That’s quick! I thought she wasn’t being delivered until June 2023.

She looks like she’s in Delta livery unless I am missing something?

Great news…

Is this the third of the 5 planned?

Hoping that we get these earlier than expected and we maybe see 3 in service within the next 6 months.

Still hoping that I will be on one mid May 22

I’m wondering if the wrong msn has been put up for G-VELJ.

Last of the 5… wow. Where they not planned to all be in service by latest Q1 2022 before the pandemic hit?

What is the usual time frame from this part to first flight?

Well G-VEVE was spotted like this in January and had her first flight on the 31st August but it could be different for this frame.
