Access to LHR Clubhouse

Hi folks,
We’re travelling Premium to Auckland via Shanghai with VS followed by NZ. Does it still stand you can gain access to the Clubhouse if it’s not busy? Has anyone recently done this? If so, what is the cost?

I 'm currently flying regularly to PVG in UC with a colleague, next trip 17th this month, long shot but when do you travel?

I believe the ability is still there to buy your way in and its £60 providing its not busy.

I noticed that the price for LGW CH access bought through V Holidays (only available if you have bought a package through) them is £67 per person at LHR (and £55 at LGW) so that's an indication of how much it is.

Not sure I'd want to pay that much though.

I would only pay that much if I had more than a couple of hours, planned on using the showers, having a lot of drink AND eating every item of food on the menu.

Thank you all. We’ve experienced various Clubhouses flying UC but never LHR. We’re travelling in March as we’re emigrating to NZ. We’d be prepared to pay the quoted fee as a celebration.

Seems a decent deal to me. I’d easily drink 4 or 5 drinks (at least!) , breakfast and a treatment. Not bad for 60 quid if available
