Flight VS9 from LHR to JFK on Sept 8, 2019.

The flight, which had been an A340, is now showing as a 787. A part of me wanted to fly the A340 before its ultimate demise, but I suppose the PE will be a nicer experience in the 787.

I suspect that more flights will start to have 340s taken off as the 350's come in.

You might find that you get a 350!

Just prompted me to check our JFK flights in August. Outbound we are still on an A340-6. Inbound was a B787-9, but this has now changed to an A340-6. Which is annoying as I know they are very dated now, and this is possibly going to be our one and only UC experience....

Whats even more annoying is they put me in 17A and my wife in 17K despite the cabin being empty bar one seat. I will have to keep an eye on this as time ticks by.

If you cannot change the seat online, I would call the airline directly for assistance.

They did this to myself and my wife when I did OLCI and I didn’t check that the seat assignment was the same as the one I had made when booking.
