When booking our holiday to BGI, I spoke with V Holidays Special Assistance team about the request for a bulkhead in Premium ideally by a window as I am a terribly nervous flyer and I find it easier with my anxiety to sit next to a window, I do however have mobility problems also hence the bulkhead request. This request was noted when booking and I was informed that seats 14 A/ C or 14 H/K are bulkheads and there would be released 24 hours before the flight, and then it’s down to the powers that be how they are allocated on the day. I have spoken to flying club checking about a reward flight as 1 seat had been released (now sadly taken) they have informed me that seats 14A/C & H/K are now not classed as bulkheads and have been taken.
Any advice with how I am best to move forward would really be greatly received, I have enquired about UC but the outbound flight alone V Hols wanted £2.7 K to upgrade which is a lot more than I am prepared to pay.

Looking at the seat map 14 A/C and 14 H/K aren't bulkhead seats (not sure if the bulkheads were removed during the refurbs) but they are emergency exit seats which would preclude anyone with mobility issues from sitting in them.
