checkin desk for KLM code share with Virgin at Gatwick

Just booked PE flights with KLM which are code share using Virgin planes
£584 for return PE from LGW to MCO in September 2019 a considerable saving

Can someone confirm I check in at the Virgin desks at LGW and MCO

You check in with the operating carrier, so yes you would visit the Virgin desks at the north terminal

KL don't fly from either LGW and MCO

How did you book PE seats with KLM?
I just checked Y seats for LGW to MCO in late August on VA with a KLM code share & got £283 return!

I got some very cheap Upper Class seats to MCO on an AF codeshare flight (so the same joint venture as the KLM one). All operated by Virgin direct MAN-MCO. The itinerary clearly states "Check in with Virgin Atlantic". Also if you logon to Manage My Booking on Virgin with the AF PNR, it briefly flashed up the underlying VS PNR - write it down quick!

It seems that there are some very good fares to be had under this AF-KLM joint venture on codeshare flights. Just a case of finding the right days and striking whilst the iron is hot.

On hotudeals someone posted Expedia were listing cheap PE seats at end of September KLM with codeshare on Virgin planes

On expedia I entered end September date, PE class, LGW to MCO and was able to preselect PE seats during booking process

KLM flights came up way, way cheaper than Virgin

Checking my flight details on KLM website it showed Economy seats (as KLM do not have PE) I immediately emailed out KLM customer services and they confirmed I have PE seats (as per the seat numbers I had selected)
