So arrived at Cancun airport Friday 26th April to a very busy terminal checked in and proceeded up to duty free and shops, this place was chocca limited seats and noisy. flight on time and seated in 6a/c with a very young family of 5 in front of us with a already screaming baby
bumpy take off as it was a little cloudy and waited for our drinks. Winter menu issue 2 was pasta salad, chicken in Cajun sauce, beef in pepper sauce, veggie lasagne chocolate desert. I had beef which was fine hubby chicken that was hard.
but we did have breakfast to look forward to
We had a few a lot of baileys as the baby was now at full screech nothing helped. lights dimmed for sleep or not
I put my ear phones in and listened to music on my I pod at least 4 times around. as light dawned breakfast was served still with the lustfull sounds of the baby as we then came into land in a full rainburst reception. on landing we were towed to a remote off stand and as we stopped so did the baby.
The steps with pushed up to the door and we all looked shocked as it was raining so heavy. Hubby went first very gingerly and I followed, it was flooded on the steps and as I went to step down I slipped down to the next step in pain, but had to keep going onto a crowded bus and over to the terminal. on arrival I told my hubby I was in pain and he looked at my foot and informed me it was bleeding and swollen. He took photos just in case I needed to report it. I have and as of yet nothing. It was unsafe and dangerous and was an accident waiting to happen. Manchester said TUI did not want an airbridge but opted for steps, they have not replied yet.
Roll on back to Virgin and Florida next year.
