To sum up the above posts, the Liverpool FC squad flew out on the Aeronexus 767 and came back on the same aircraft. There's lots of photos about of the squad boarding the plane, posing outside it and taken inside to verify this.

There was also a Corsair 747 and an Ethiopian 787 chartered in, whilst last year when the Final was in Kiev there was a South African Airways A340-600 chartered amongst others. All of these types are rare aircraft for LPL as the staple diet there is usually A320 series aircraft, 737's, props such as Dash 8's, private jets and general aviation traffic.
