Hi,

Looking for 2 G's from LHR-MIA on either Sept 26th or Sept 27th 2019 if anyone is able to do a load check to gauge the possibility of them appearing?

I had a look at the seat map (for what its worth), seems pretty lightly selected on the Thursday at least.

TIA

Between 23rd and 29th only 1 G available on Saturday 28th (at the moment)

To guess if any might appear would be using the same knowledge as picking your winning lotto numbers. ;-)

There are 2 on the VS025 into JFK available on the Saturday

Thanks for reply.

Yeh I know its not an exact science but seems like only 2 or 3 seats selected on the Thursday VS 5 so hoping they might release some Gs (there were some about 6 weeks ago I think). Otherwise will be going GLA-MCO in premium.

Never, ever use the seat map to guess how busy a flight may be. Not everyone is that bothered about what seat they sit in - especially in upper even when it is free to select - and leave it to the days close to or when OLCI opens and a fair number of passengers leave it until the airport!

You can sign up to expert flyer for a free trial for load checks. But again that indicates what an airline is prepared to sell not what it will convert to rewards.

People have previously suggested using an app / website called 'reward flight finder' but I havn't used it but it may be worth a look.

Yeh thanks I understand that about the seat map however its the only tool I have currently.

I have checked RWF already so can see the current availability of G seats.

I didn't know you could do a free trial of expert flyer tho will have a look later.

Thanks so much for your reply (and PM I- I did get the email!). I actually wouldn't do Upper out of GLA as the Clubhouse is such an big part of an Upper trip for my wife and I (hence willing to travel to London for the outbound). There's good award availability from GLA that week as its 2 weeks before half term up here.

Our ideal trip would be LHR-MIA in Upper then return MCO-GLA in premium but if it doesn't happen we'll just do the return to MCO in Premium (we've 2 CC upgrade vouchers to use) and save the miles for another time.

Thanks again though, appreciate it!

Oh yeh thats a massive improvement! Upper deck was really poor.

May even give that a go if we do premium from Glasgow and the lounge it gets good feedback early on.

With the upgraded Emirate concourse and BA are renovating their lounge this month too so all going in the right direction.
