The toilet directly is front of seats 1d and 2D on the A340-600 has now been replaced by a wardrobe!

The wardrobe behind seats 1D and 2D has been replaced by the toilet so now these seats are good and are not disturbed by the toilet.

Hi Declan thanks for the "Heads up" no pun intended [:I]

Is this across the 600's or just one aircraft pending roll out across the rest?

Clearly we're going to need a separate topic devoted entirely to the ongoing witticisms of our forum heroes!

Good one, Bazz.

Come on Bazz...

Given my recent gripes about waiting for the loos in which to change into or out of a sleep suit, I wonder whether the wardrobe is big enough ?

Ok so the toilet door noise will now come from behind you, And you will have people hanging around the back of your suite instead so either way 1D will still be a poor seat.

Cheers

On my recent flight on VMEG (TR) crew mentioned the loo going. There was indeed a HUGE wardrobe and cupboard there. Wasn't aware of another bog, sorry loo on that side of plane. I used the one in front of 3K and one by the bar.

I was once asked this at the reception desk of a pretty big office in NY. I told them if I was Spiderman, would I need to come in via the reception desk?
