Dreamliner’s on JFK-LHR route

Hi,

I’m booked to come back from JFK on 2nd September, and when I booked the aircraft was a 787. Now it seems the aircraft has been switched to an A330. Looking at the other flights leaving JFK that day, none seem to be the 787. Have Virgin pulled these planes off this route and onto others? Or am I just really confused?

Interestingly, I am flying JFK-LHR on 8/31/19 (VS 4648) and LHR-JFK on 9/8/2019 (VS 138). Originally the outbound flight from JFK was an A-330 and the return flight was a 787. Now, both flights have swapped to A340 metal. Of course, the flights have swapped several times since booking on 12/2018.
