Free fast track security for PE at gatwick

Hi all
Due to ill health we have been unable to travel abroad for last 2 years.
Normally we fly PE to either Miami or Orlando.

Last Wednesday we dropped off luggage at gatwick PE desk and nice check in lady gave us boarding cards and directed us to fast track security lane.

Is fast track security now the norm for PE it was I lucky.

Mind you there were very short normal security lines so wouldn’t have taken long anyway

I believe fast-track security is the norm at Gatwick for Premium passengers. But, as you say, standard security is invariably just as quick or even quicker.
