A wave from LHR CH

Afternoon all, excited wave ahead of family celebrations in the States. New menu here since our visit in May Clubhouse burger replaced by chicken burger or plant burger. Even more alarming is the absence of any mention on wine list or elsewhere of champagne, though it is still available if you ask. Hope the bean counters aren’t phasing it out!

Hmmm, sounds like they’re adopting BA’s strategy for its LHR business class lounges. Champagne is always available on request but if you don’t know that, you won’t request it! Cuts costs significantly, I imagine.

Mr DL muttered about the demise of the CH burger when he flew out last Friday to Oz .... ...said the alternatives were “ rubbish” . He doesn’t really like fizz so had several large glasses of red ( not sure what ) which sent him swiftly off to sleep on board ..

Just about . Growing lad is Mr DL ( literally) . Worryingly he seems to have almost doubled in size since living down under .... !
