Anyone know what happened to this one today?

Technical issue and returned to LHR. Aircraft from jfk positioning to Miami to bring home the 118 tonight

Hi we are on return flight VS118. Delayed over 5 hrs coming back ....

Hoping someone can answer a couple of questions for me.

Not an expert by any stretch on EU comp and VA website isn’t very clear or at least I’m not able to find detail I’m looking for.

- we booked with miles are we still eligible?
- if so it looks like we are able to claim 600 EUR each, is that right?

Yes and yes, assuming the delay wasn’t due to “extraordinary circumstances” (which technical problems are not but VS might try to argue otherwise).
