Sitting here on a Sunday morning ( it is Sunday right ?? :-D ) and watching some YouTube videos of VS flights, not that I am missing flying or anything ;-( , and just wondering what everyone’s favourite seat is.

Because the majority of my flights are to MCO and are on 747’s it’s got to be 10k for me.

Don’t ask me why, but it’s unsettling if I am in any other :-D :-D :-D

Anyone else ?

Our twoFavourite seats are 10&11k LGW-MCO and10&11a on return flight
Hope we never go at the same time
FYI we go mid September most years
Any reason why you pick that seat?
I choose it as if it flies down the eastern seaboard there is something to look out the window
Also near but not right next to the bar

Ditto that.
Favorite plane 747 and row 6 is like having your own private cabin.
If travelling PE then row 19 A&C are first off the plane and there is no one behind tapping on their IFE screen.

787/333 Upper
  • 1A - ego
  • 9/10/11A - quick exit

787 PE

  • 21D - bulkhead, allows for extra legroom and a quick exit straight after Upper. Can only be assigned at check in or Clubhouse.

333 PE

  • 18A/C
  • 20D

Same as the 787, bulkheads can only be assigned at check in or Clubhouse. Row 18 is pretty unique as it is recessed forward into the space that the 2nd toilet would normally be on the 787 layout. Provides easy galley access, quick exit and to your right is the galley wall. So it's very private.

340 Upper

Anywhere at the back of the A seats. You can see a pattern occurring here...

340 PE

  • 18D - bulkhead, allows for extra legroom and a quick exit straight after Upper. Can only be assigned at check in or Clubhouse.

747 Upper

  • 10/11/12A

747 PE

  • 19C/D - quick exit

6A & 6K for us as well, unfortunately we haven't flown on a VS 747 for some time.

Totally agree with 6A 6K on the 747. Other actual plane seats may have more space , be considered more comfortable and have more storage , but for me the ambience of the UC cabin on the Queen of the Skies reigns supreme .
