Do I have to wait until 331 days before the outbound flight to reserve seats and like wise 331 days before the inbound flight.
Or do I have to wait until 331 days before the inbound flight to reserve seats on both legs.

If it’s a package holiday, it’s 331 days from return flight . You’ll get your airline ref on the return date being 331 days out.
If you’ve booked a flight only, you can reserve now with your ref. X

We booked our outbound flight 331 days out, just waiting on booking the return seats once we get to the 331 days out for those.
