Hi all,
I’ve tried searching for this but can’t find anything on the topic so hoping others might be able to help or share experience.
We had flights booked for my wife and I and plans had to change due to Covid so took the travel vouchers. I’m trying to rebook, but to use the two vouchers to cover me, wife & 2 kids (4 pax) and VS so far are saying this goes against their terms and policies. I have gone through these terms multiple times with different representatives and you can’t combine travel vouchers, but there doesn’t seem to be a declared condition that I cannot share with another person travelling on same itinerary.
Value of flights as a family is £500 lower than value against vouchers, so know I will lose some money to them. All that VS are saying they can do is use vouchers for wife and I (so I lose significantly more money) and then I have to pay full price for kids, which seems extremely unfair, especially when nothing in T&Cs says we cannot do what I am trying to do.
Has anyone else got experience of this or been able to get Virgin to see sense?
Many thanks.
