Hi everyone,

Just trying to get a general view about our flight in November.

We are flying on the vs91 (Lhr-Mco) November this year. Currently we have been given a departure time of 11:25 on a A350. Last year virgin changed the times to a later afternoon flight and a different aircraft.

Even thou it’s probably a difficult question to answer Should we prepare for a schedule change as the winter schedule always seems to change?

Yet again sorry if this is a dumb question at this stage but just wanted a general consensus. Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for any information/insight given.

Not a silly question at all!

The simple answer is yes absolutely it can change. The airlines typically sell what time they wish to go within the parameters of the slot they have however the airports on both sides won’t have confirmed the overall airport schedule till quite a bit later.

Once the airports finalise the schedule you will end up with no change, a minor change (I believe this is defined as 3 hours earlier or later) or if the schedule given causes other issues Virgin will then initiate a major time change to make sure a plane is available to take you. Winter schedule starts the end of October so I’m sure things will be more set in stone for you from May. Although changes are still of course possible!

Good luck!

Thank you for the reply, the explanation of the time slot sales has made a lot of sense.

Yet again I really appreciate the reply

Have a great day

So we’ve had our first change we’ve gone from a 350 to a 330 plane. Part of me is happy as we’re now only in a 2 seating as opposed to a group of three. On the other hand we’re we’re looking forward to flying on a different plane to what we’ve flown on before. Only ever flown on a 747 and a 330. I guess time will only tell for the flight times

We are due to fly on 18th November, we originally booked our seats in economy delight and like you said about the plane has changed to a different configuration.. for us is a pain. Rebooked seats hopefully they don't change it again...

Time still 11.25am wonder if that will change?

We’ve got economy delight going out and exit row coming back they have pretty much switched us like for like. We are expecting the time change as they normally do. Last year it went to 14:25 which meant it doesn’t get in until 19:45 which isn’t great but what can you do. Not sure when the winter schedule is released. Will just have to keep a look out

We are delight too! Originally 3-3-3 configured which was ideal.... 3 on window and 2 in middle... now all along the window 2,2 and 1 all behind each other as no delight in middle on the row of 4 seats

So I’m guessing our flight on November 12th is sold out as it’s no longer listed to book, well at least that’s what I’m hoping. I just hope nothing drastic is happening to it. The return flight is still there.

It depends on the winter schedule I’m guessing. That’s normally around September October time. We’ve had late changes before unfortunately
