Received an email from Virgin as I’d spent over the £10,000 required for a reward voucher. However this has not appeared on the account after speaking with the flying club I have been told they do not appear in the account until the date of the card fee renewal. This is not what has happened previously as vouchers have appeared soon after the email has been received. Has something changed ?

Mine showed up on my Flying Club account a good while before I received an email about it. I'd even used mine before Virgin Money managed to email me back in February!

However, It does not show on my Virgin Red app for me.

The agent is wrong when they say it only show's up on your card anniversary. It should automatically hit your Flying Club account within 30 days of you reaching the spend threshold.

I actually track my VS card monthly card spend using a spreadsheet to see exactly when I reach the voucher threshold. It's about time VM added this feature to their app. The voucher appeared on my FC account the following month at the same time my monthly spend points appeared on my FC account. The email informing me was received around 2 weeks after that!

Here's my FC transaction:

My card anniversary is next month (April) as VM recent emailed exactly 1 month before my April statement date to remind me.

My card anniversary was last month. I have yet to hear from VM. On my flying club account only my old voucher appears, issued May 2023. I've spent over 38k on the card in the last 12 months.

Turns out I did get an email about a voucher in November 2023. However Flying Club have absolutely no knowledge of this!

So, I'm now being an intermediary between Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Money. Each one say speak to the other, ffs

Interested to hear how you get on with this.. it seems I'm in a similar position, with an email about a voucher from September 2023, but nothing showing in my Flying Club account apart from the previous voucher issued in May 2023.
