G-VLDY operated last night’s VS128 and today’s VS127. The seat map for the VS128 has changed to an A339 on the VS website so it will likely be operated by either G-VLDY or G-VEII.

G-VKSS is having more issues and has been pulled from the VS127 again. G-VLDY positioned to LHR earlier and G-VTOM is positioning up to operate the flight which is now delayed until 5pm. G-VNYC is down to operate the VS128 tonight.

G-VSXY has now been put on tonight’s VS128, currently with a delay of 2h30m. This means that tomorrow’s VS127/128 rotation should be operated by an A333, no matter whether G-VKSS is still unserviceable or not.

Probably an expensive month overall if the various cancellations this month are factored in. All those delays, rebookings on to other flights, hotels, expenses and general Eu261 claims won’t be cheap.

Might not be as expensive as you think - they will never announce or publicise EU261, you have to know about it.

When we arrived at Orlando 3h58m late at the gate (after a return to Manchester due to smoke on the flight deck), all they publicised via the PA was food vouchers for use in the airport as Economy & Premium only got sandwiches to eat. The meals had started to cook before we did the return to MAN and had to be binned. Only Upper Class got hot food on the flight. Given that it was about midnight UK time when we arrived in Orlando, I bet they got few takers for the food vouchers too - people just wanted to get to their accommodation & sleep.

We both claimed EU261 & it was paid within 7 days - had been in Upper so had hot food on the flight too. Wish we had arrived 3mins later at the gate to trigger the +4hrs payment!

I got to try the NEO last year to TPA in preemie and upper and was very impressed. I would image ATL and JFK will be the first MAN destinations to get it full time next year. The new schedules mean when a plane goes tech it puts everything out of sequence.
