Pilot shortages are affecting the operation at the moment quite generally, but I am not sure if thats the specific reason, but between those and the 787 Rolls Royce issues rearing their head again the flying programme has suffered some knock on effects.

I was due to be on VS105 today and it was cancelled yesterday with less than 24 hours notice! The cynic in me can’t help but wonder if it was cancelled because the plane was relatively empty. Is this something airlines would do? The same flight tomorrow is almost completely full, probably helped by rebookings from the flight I was meant to be on today!
