Good morning and happy Monday,

I wondered if I could seek a bit of advice on behalf of some friends travelling to HNL via SEA on Friday.

They are booked on VS105 in Y but they are ticketed under the DL codeshare connecting to a DL flight to HNL and it's all on one PNR. The ticket has been sold with a legal connection of 1hr 19 minutes. Bearing in mind that they've got to collect checked bags and navigate CBP, and based on my own experiences at Christmas, I'm slighly concerned that there's a huge opportunity for them to miss their connection. The HNL flight is the last flight of the day operated by DL

The 105's reliability of late seems a bit hit and miss, and it's either early or massively late. in both December and January when we passed through SEA, bags took ages to be delivered, and the queues at CBP were wild.

They don't have GE as they are infrequent travellers, but I have advised them to get the MPC app to speed things up a bit at CBP.

My question is this...if they misconnect due to being held up by bags and/or CBP, who's responsibility is it to deal with the misconnection?

Any sage advice would be warmly welcomed.

It's always the airline that issues the ticket who will have ultimate responsibility for sorting any mis-connections.

If it's a 006 ticket number - that's DL. If it's a 932 ticket number that's VS.
