Private terminal Manchester

I’ve just been reading about the private terminal at Manchester and thought since Virgin have canned building the clubhouse at Manchester, surely this would be a great option for their upper class passengers instead of the 1903 lounge! I mean it’s unlikely they would offer it but we can dream! I have sent a suggestion on their website, wonder if I’ll get a response….

I doubt that very much - maybe if you are UNIQ/WIngs ? (You used to be able to use WIndsor suite at a reduced price if UNIQ) nut for run of the mill Upper PAX and Gold it wouldn't make much commercial sense for B&S routes to have have free access (sadly)

Nice idea but Aether is also only designed for a few pax to use it at once every day. I don't know the exact numbers but it's not many.

3 or 4 VS daily departures with between 16 - 31 J pax on each flight would likely overwhelm them.

Yeah I know it’s unlikely, wasn’t sure from the website how big it was, but would be nice if virgin could get the Manchester experience a bit closer to flying from Heathrow! Tbf the prices aren’t too ridiculous, might be tempted to try it one day

Indeed, I'm also tempted to try it, though it's getting from/back to the terminal where I would be parking and/or staying in an airport hotel to/from Aether which is near the viewing park that seems a faff.

They do mention being able to book parking for you but why not include that as an extra option on their website during the booking process plus I'm not a fan of someone else parking /driving my car for me? Much rather do it myself!

I hear you - I now live in. Yorks so Manchester is a local airport . I have to say used it twice and I hate it but needs must. I have 6 international flights booked - 4 of them with Virgin and in next 12 Weeks. I am flying down the day before (BA Club) and then out from LHR in J. Not ideal but it suits me as I like LHR (T3 and T5) and as I am not time poor so staying night before (and indeed when I land as will fly back up the next day ) is the way I have to go for now.

Using the private terminal wouldnt change that for me as VS do not fly to routes I use (or indeed BA) direct from MAN
