A fully working VS app (+ self-service online flight change)

After getting a DL app update Monday, knew a VS app update wouldn’t be far away and sure enough an update appeared last night….

Lo and behold…for the first time since before COVID the VS app now finally displays my FC account transactions correctly!!!

VS just need to add bag tracking now like DL have been doing for the how ever many years and it’s almost fully functional!

Apparently BA are not far off launching bag tracking via their app as well.

EVEN MORE!! You can now change flights online (just like Delta) no more chat or call.

However, it is glitchy and will not work, so maybe they have not fully installed it yet.
But this is great news to be able to change bookings online instead of having to chat or call.

For now, on my reward booking it doesn’t work and advised to contact, but for cash bookings it works (albeit getting errors - probably due to upgrading with points on the outbound)

Yeah, unsurprisingly, the website follows the same change flight process DL use as I've changed flights with DL several times in the past. Like you say though so far it's not quite as slick as DL yet but at least it's a start!

Flight change only seems available via the website so far though. Looks like you can cancel via the app but not make a change (yet).
