Flex fares

Does a Flex fare give you anymore tier points or just the ability to change the booking ?

No sadly not. Flex fares are actually the same fare codes as all other fares, it’s just they get a hidden free to cancel or change policy added to them that only reservation staff can see. The website should also allow free changes now on all flex fares.

Whilst I’ve not booked a VS flex fare, I have booked an AF flex fare which was flying on VS metal. My fares were Upper Class I fares (with the flex add-on). I was easily able to change that fare online only paying any difference in fare and zero change fee.
