MCO terminal Move

I am seeing on other forums that VS are moving to terminal C from 28th April. While the Delta Sky Club has had its ups and downs from the reviews I have seen the only lounge in terminal C seems to be the Plaza Premium Lounge and it makes the Sky Club seem like the Ritz in comparison,

Are Delta moving as well though as I thought DL were the ground handling agents for VS at MCO?

Delta are not moving (yet), but I have read elsewhere that JetBlue may be getting the boot from Terminal C to make room for Delta to make the move over to join Virgin. Delta only ground-handle for Virgin "below the wing" in Orlando - all the check-in / gate agents / dispatcher are Swissport.

It will be interesting to see what feedback Virgin get from their UC / FC Golds in the Plaza Premium Lounge in terminal C. I've just read 7 pages of reviews on TripAdvisor and almost without exception, the words "terrible", "overcrowded" & "avoid" come up. Agree with the OP's comment that it makes the Delta Sky Club in terminal B / airside 4 sound like the height of luxury.

Emirates must be embarrassed to have to use this Plaza Premium Lounge as sounds like a disorganised car-crash. When we flew to DXB from MAN in December the check-in agent was grovelling / highly apologetic they were having to send us to the 1903 Lounge as the EK lounge is not completed yet.

My tickets for June now show Terminal C.
To be honest I thought Virgin and all international airlines moved to Terminal C when it opened. I've not been with Virgin to MCO since 2017, and been exclusively Tampa since 2018.

Another family member of mine used Aer ling last summer into airside C in took 2 hours to clear customs. For comparison I flew into TPA on VS129 and it took me 10 minutes. I wonder if US customs facility in the existing airside are closing permanently. Because Delta will have the same issue for its international flights. Some of you have noted the poor state of the Delta Sky Club at MCO so maybe DL are not spending any more money on it because they know they’re moving.

I flew with BA a couple of years ago and used the Plaza lounge in Terminal C. It was one of the worst lounges I've ever used. It was an absolute zoo - we got the last two seats that were together. We had to pay to use the showers and they gave one tiny thread bare towel. We lasted all of 10 minutes in the lounge post-shower, as we were gazing down from the zoo lounge into a serene calm terminal and noticed an (empty) Wine Bar George. We left, sat in George's with excellent service, a few glasses of excellent wine plus a meat and cheese platter all for around $40. I'm looking forward to the C move because actually I'd much rather George's Wine Bar over the Delta lounge!

We didn't think the Plaza lounge was that bad when we used on BA last trip.

Terminal C however is a massive improement and we would book VS again for just this improvement as it's a far quicker immigration (and better) experience than at the current arrangement. Terminal C is better in every other way in our opinion and a lounge isn't why we pick BA over VS. The main reason is last trip we were out of terminal C on arrival (with luggage) in under 10 minutes, something we've never managed at the old VS terminal.

I've booked car hire with Virgin Holidays (Avis) that's still showing as Terminal A.
I'm assuming there's car hire in the new terminal and I don't have to get the monorail across?

According the MCO airport website, all rental companies do all have pick-up and drop-off locations in terminal C.

At least VS have done the sensible thing and put the move off until after Easter. Will be interesting to see what Delta does now. As Delta has a habit of moving into new terminals I know at TPA they're new Airside D is currently under construction.

August 1 for me and yes, showing as terminal C. However we are on the 0050 leaving at 12.55 am so hoping by then it might be quieter (if still open)

on that subject does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the -just after midnight flight. I got a great deal on the retreat suite

Apparently the customs border and protection have not approved the move. Also the Plaza Premium Lounge has been at capacity over the Easter break in terminal C. My flight on the 24th of July is also showing terminal A now.

Just FYI you can book a pass to go airside in terminal C if you want to experience it, even without traveling from that terminal. Obviously you’d just need to arrive earlier than normal to go over there via the monorail.

Saw a post of Facebook in a couple groups mentioning the terminal c move may happen on 30th June? I haven’t seen any thing from Virgin so unsure how reliable the sources are right now

This seems to have originated with a website called Mickey In The UK. Their source is "Virgin Atlantic have confirmed directly to us that the last day of operations at Terminal A will be Monday 29th June 2026, with Terminal C operations beginning on Tuesday 30th June 2026"
No evidence was supplied other than, trust us bro.

My out/in flights span this period and I'm still showing Terminal A for both.

On my car hire voucher from Virgin Holidays it states the following:

‘Virgin Atlantic is scheduled to move terminals at Orlando International Airport in June 2026.‘

Not sure how likely or valid this is, but it is a recently sent document. I’m not sure how to include an image so apologies!

But true to VS form, even this page is technically incorrect. Virgin use check-in desks and baggage reclaim in Terminal A, but all their actual operations are from Terminal B / Airside 4. I am not looking forward to the move to C - particularly on the lounge front.

The lounge is a worry, unless they have a bit sectioned off which I doubt. I hope they retain the VS Representative to take the passengers to the gate. Fingers crossed virgin make this a little more special than the normal lounge experience in terminal C

The reviews on Tripadvisor are appalling. 2 stars is rare. bad food, overcrowded, anyone can get in...it goes on. Unless VS have their own area, the consensus is don't bother. All the facility can respond is, " sorry, we're trying to get more space, we will do better"... my trip is July 31, not looking forward to the start of it.
