I recently status matched to get gold and the upgrade to the higher tier went through today. In doing that it removed all my Tier Points that I'd collected since the start of the year, I was two flights away from Silver... those flights happen next week.

When the Gold status match runs out, if I don't achieve enough TPs to renew it, will I automatically soft land to Silver? I would have at least 400 TPs in my account if they hadn't reset the TPs with the upgrade to gold, which would have given me another year of silver. If I soft land, then there's no problem, if I don't, seems like a battle with CS is on the horizon.

Tier points (TP's) will always reset when you either hit gold or re-new gold. I don't see any reason why you wont have a soft landing back to Silver once your current membership year ends if you don't earn enough TP's. I don't think a status match will be treated any differently to a normal membership.

If you don't manage to earn enough TP's within 12 months whilst Gold, the actual number you do earn is irrelevant. 999 TP's or less and your account will drop to Silver automatically. Even if you earn less than 400 TP's; you will still drop back to Silver.
