Convention Pax

Have just looked at my future bookings in Flying Club / checked for seat & aircraft changes etc.

All good for July trip, but for the March trip I've moved seats to be in 2A each way in case VS sub the leisure A350 on the MAN-MCO route. When I change my seat, it shows my name, e.g. BLOGGS/KRAKENMR (Convention Pax). What is the Convention Pax bit? The tickets both ways are normal UC Z fares.

Yes, we will drive past the Orlando Convention Center almost daily - to attend our "convention" at Universal Orlando.

Its normally for groups of 10 or more.

I see this on 2 or my 3 bookings as well. The 2 bookings both have connecting DL flights so I think it’s something to do with that as there’s only me on the bookings?

My other booking is a direct VS reward flight which doesn’t show it.

It started showing earlier this year. I’m only seeing it on the website booking seat map pages though, however, after my delayed VS7 flight in Feb (again with an onward DL connection), it then started showing on the main header part of my view booking page as well.

This has been on my last 3 bookings and my upcoming booking. Nothing to worry about. I’ve travelled with no problems.
