MAN to MCO - Summer 2005

I used to be a regular flyer on this route but haven't flown for the last few years now.

Just booked my tickets for MAN to MCO (and back of course) for beginning of August 2005.

I just had a few questions I hoped someone might be able to answer.

We have seats 29 J/K on both the outbound and inbound and from what I can see on the fligh plan and from distant memory, these are not bad seats. What's everyone elses view? Am I going to get a good window seat in 29 or end up looking at wall? If they are rubbish can anyone suggest better ones with a good view and my fiancee I am travelling with has never flown.

Also, I know it's the 747-400 on this route but does anyone know which plane may be servicing it and which entertainment system it would have? On one occasion I ended up on the Airbus and had a phone in my seat which proved quite a (expensive) toy.

Seats 29J&K are forward of the wings so there should be a good view from the window. These seats are also close to one of the galleys which might cause some disturbance. Worth bearing in mind for the night flight home.

The entertainment system will be either Nova or Odyssey. Both have onboard telephones although with Nova they are mounted on the bulkheads rather than on the remote control handset.
