Virgin emergency landing at Shannon today

Not sure, but flight status doesn't look good;it was late out in the first instance! So it returned back to LHR, and will go out tomorrow - the reciprocal flight from MIA-LHR (VS006) was cancelled today as a result.

There was some smoke in the cabin so the crew elected to dump fuel and return to Shannon. After the electrical problem was fixed the a/c had to return to LHR as the crew didn't have the hours to continue. Pax were put in hotels tonight and due to the low loads most can be put on Wednesday's flight with any overspill on BA/AA/etc.
