Here is the BBC version of the story.

It is quite ironic to read this two days after my first BMI experience. We had a weekend enjoying the magnificent hospitality of Dublin the weekend before St. Patrick's Day!!

I have to say that, apart from a small mix up on the baggage carousel on the ground at NOTTINGHAM EMA, I was quite impressed with BMI Baby.

I was quite shocked by that story.

BMI baby effectively hijacked the passengers! Especially after most of them demanded to be disembarked when the Jersey detour was announced.

Perhaps when VS eventually take over, they can stop that sort of thing happening again! :)

IF VS 'merge' with BMI, do you think they with will also take on BMI baby, which is ineffect run as a seperate entity?

I suppose they could take it over and then retro-fit it to Virgin Express! ;) BMI baby would open up more routes for VE and extend it's reach to cover most of the UK etc...

Just a thought ;)
