Hi Phil,

Welcome to the Virgin Atlantic experience :)

I second TBS's request for your travelling class.

When you're back from your trip, you'll have to let us know all about what you think of VS, from a first flyer point-of-view :)

My tip would be to join FlyingClub ASAP!

48K on the A340-300 has a toilet write behind you so you will get people standing right next to your seat waiting for the washroom.

You shoud try rows 41 - 45 or rows 55 -65 to be away from the toilets.

You can drink what ever you like, remember drinking at altitude is different to on the ground.

Drink in moderation. It may be free does not mean you have to go crazy.

Take a stroll to the galley at the back of the A340-300 and ask the crew for a drink. Some advice is if your drinking alcohol get a glass of juice or water at the same time. The crew will see that your being sensible.
