I have to say after seeing various pics of the new PE seat - it looks a pretty impressive seat. Not been on any A346's or GV-ROC yet to try it out.

The new PE seats are great until you try to push down the recline button and nearly break your thumb in the process!!! [}:)]

I should be flying on the LHR 747 in June so i think/hope that i will get to see the new PE seats. They do look better than the older ones, nice and fresh!

I would also like to see a pic of the PE cabin on the airbus. Anyone travelling/travelled recently that has/could provide a pic?

Thanks for the pointers, there is a cracking shot of the 340600 PE on one of the sites so now we know what to expect.

WOW! I am quite impressed with the new PE in Virgin. Is that only on the A340-600's and B747-400's right now?

I will be flying in late June JFK-LHR VS004 on the 744 on PE. Will I most likely be flying on those new PE seats? They look quite similar to UC!

Unfortunately, I will be returning on the A340-300. LHR-JFK VS009. I guess that Virgin has not upgraded the PE cabin yet on the -300's?

When travelling on the 744 in PE book a seat in the upper deck.

Ask for rows 70 - 74!!!

Rows 75 - 77 are on the main deck next to the galley!!!!

Call reservations now to book a seat on the upper deck. When travellin on the A340-300 in PE avoid row 21 as Y is directly behind the bulkhead!

actually... I already have my seats and are sitting on the upper deck in PE on the 744, and are 23 something...

what my main question, though, was whether or not the B744's and Airbus that do LHR-JFK/JFK-LHR have those new PE seats. It looks MUCH nicer than the old ones!
