Evening all...

Booked a Virgin Holiday over the internet and upgraded seats to UC.

We are flying out to Orlando on 14th October, and I understand that there are only 14 seats in UC. I was going to try and get the ones at the front which I understand are good if you travel as a couple.

Question if I may, I am entering in my booking reference and flight details, but the website is not recognising them. Am I doing something wrong, do I need to leave it nearer to the time..??[?]

Any help/info appreciated..:D

Depends what that reference looks like. If it has a oblique in it ("/") and ends /S06 or /W06, then that's the VH reference, not the Virgin Atlantic one. You'll only be able to retrieve your booking once VS has issued the tickets, and you might be a bit far in advance for that. However, it might be worth giving VH a call and asking them what's your PNR number (which is normally alphanumeric, about 5 or 6 characters).

i booked through Virgin holidays. The seat booking became available 336 days before my departure date. I put in my Virgin booking number and it issued me with a new reference number to use for future occasions. Hope this helps.

Ihave just booked my seats for flights out on 1st Sept and back on 15th. I think you will find the reason why you cant get the booking logged yet is because the return flight is still more than 336 days away - the system will not let you do "seat selection" until both sectors are inside the 336 days limit.

Have to tell you that when I did my allocation I had every seat to choose from.

I also asked - in a spearate thread - whether it was better to go for the 6's as a couple or one behind the other - in the end I have opted for one behind the other with my wife in front - we both watch films on the way out and will sleep on the wau back so 8 and 9 seem to be good choices.
