For Sale:
Black travel bag that would suit the frequent flyers amongst us. Victorinox-Swiss Army laptop/travel bag. Wheeled with extendable arm, but crucially is also backpack style, so is easy to carry when wheeling is not an option. Four zippered compartments: largest main compartment; second a protected laptop compartment (with removable laptop 'envelope'); third compartment with 'phone, pen, business card, etc, etc pockets; and smallest fourth compartment to keep passports/tickets/the latest bestseller. Also two velcro-ed side pockets. Measures 55x35x20cm. Look at their website to check out the quality.
I travel a lot (unfortunately work rather than fun!) and I was looking for a bag that was big enough to accomodate both laptop and clothes for a couple of days travel (undies, toiletries, trousers, shirt, etc); small enough to be carry-on; comfortable to carry; and did not look out of place when I met with a customer; this bag was good for that, ideal for the two-three day trip.
Down side - when I have flown on a LoCo, the bag has had hard stares at check in and I suspect that some folks may not accept it as cabin baggage, it may be just a little too big. It has never been turned down, but it could be: we all know this is subjective.
I paid £170 at LHR T3 (duty free) last summer - the bag has since been to several international destinations, although looks pristine. I'm looking for £100 or so; don't know how much it will cost to ship, however if anyone is interested I will take it to the PO and find out.
As I said I travel a lot, and during the next couple of weeks I will be mostly on the road, so if you do post a response pls forgive me if I don't reply straight away.
