Just received an email from Trailfinders offering a selection of rather nice looking hotels around the world. They all look very V-Flyer friendly so just thought I'd share :D

Some hotel packages also include VS flights :)

Thanks James [y] I've never used them before, though have used eBookers. Anyone used them before...good/bad experiences?

The only thing I've used Trialfinders for is getting mt Australian ETA for my upcoming SYD trip. Hence the reason why I'm on their mailing list.

I always find going to the hotels website gets you a better deal than anywhere else, it's saved me a fortune on my hilton stays!

Full marks to Trailfinders!
I have used them to book three trips, two to Australia and two to the Far East. I couldn't fault 'em and their travel advisors are very knowledgeable, with each covering a specific area of the world.

When planning my Oz trip they arranged everything - flights, hotels, transfers and some tours. The only two places where I had to arrange my own accommodation were Tennant Creek and Katherine.

In certain cases booking direct with hotels may have been slightly cheaper, but over all Trailfinders pointed me in the right direction to save several £££'s on my trip.

I have had no experience with Ebookers or other such companies, but from my experiences with Trailfinders I am quite happy to continue using them.

As an after thought. Although in many cases the price quoted by hotels on their websites is cheaper, Trailfinders have negotiated many "extras" with hotels which in a lot of cases makes them more competitive.

Its well worth getting on their mailing list to receive their very informative quarterly magazine and worldwide hotel brouchure.

Having re read what I have written above may I add that, other than as a customer, I have absolutely no connection with the company mentioned.:)

Trailfinders get my vote for one of the best leisure agents in the UK. Have used them alot before (mainly for hotel bookings) and their buying power in some markets means you often get lots of extras.

As always, you can always shop around and check the hotels website direct (with a few chains this will be cheaper) but Trailfinders for the most part will offer really good value.
