Not been at Heathrow for some years and with an upcoming flight where i have to change terminals - how easy is it to transfer between Terminal 1 & Terminal 4? especially with a 4 year old!

We transferred between T1 & T4 a couple of years ago and tbh found it really easy (and we had my then 2 yr old niece with us). Just make sure you have plently of time between the flights (our bags were checked through also which made things easier), the directions are fairly simple and if you check out the this link from the Heathrow website it gives you info/maps/tips ect about transferring between terminals.

With BA all the way so will check bags all the way through from GLA.Flight gets into T1 at 14.05 then flight from T4 departs at 16.15.So will also get checked in all the way through as well.

Motherger, If your bags are check through just follow the signs to flight connections and you can catch the bus airside which will take you over to T4. :)

You should do it no probs, the through check bags make a big help, best advise I would give is not to try and rush, just take you time and follow the signs.
